my sick little girl

Madison has been sick for a week. Last Sunday started the vomiting and fever, and through the week it has gotten worse. I've taken her to 2 different doctors and nothing is really wrong with her. Except there is SOMETHING wrong with her. I just don't know what. I plan on staying home from work AGAIN tomorrow and taking her to a different doctor. SOMETHING is wrong with her and it's my job as her mother to find out what. I'll update when I know something.

ramblings

Nathan turned 31 on the 4th, our 6th anniversary is tomorrow. We will most likely go to dinner and see a movie. We're going to see The Golden Compass. Yeah! That's right, I said it. I'm going to see it, so save your lecture because I for one, have a mind of my own. And I'm going to see it because of all the stupid forwards I have recieved telling me to not see it.

Brylie turns 3 on January 4th. What a fast fast 3 years it's been. I feel like she's still my precious little chubby cheeked nursing cuddly sweetie pie. Now she's tall and thin and wants to run and play. And just as I am typing this she runs out of her room with her crazy hair and sleepy eyes, wrapped in her "beetna" ( her blankie). I love this child.

We have been talking of having another, and the girls are really excited about it. I don't know when, but we know we definitely want another, so that's a start.

Laundry and stuff

Well I got a new washer folks, so I've been busy doing my massive piles of laundry. I could probably get rid of half of my girls clothes and they still wouldnt wear the same outfit in a month. I guess I buy too much. oops. I sure love Gymboree. I'm not sure what started my obsession for it but my obsession is deep. I love the coordinating outfits. and accessories. and panties!!! man my kids have a lot of panties.

Anyway on to other things.

To the certain friend who never answers e-mails and made your blog private- you better either answer my e-mail or add me to your blog or I will have to resort to drastic measures. What those drastic measures are I'm not yet sure, but I assure you they will be painful. JK I love you. I know you're busy with your new life and new family. I'd just like to be able to at least read about it. mmmkay?

I've been tagged.

Here's how you play:

Once you have been tagged, you have to write a blog with 10 wierd, random things/facts/habits or goals about yourself. As the end choose 4 - 10 people to be tagged, listing thier names and why you chose them. Don't forget to leave them a comment (you're it) and to read your blog. You can't tag the person who tagged you. Since you can't tag me back, let me know when you have posted your blog so I can see your answers.

1. I'm easily irritated.

2. I like onions.

3. I love to sleep

4. I am extremely lazy

5. I am the most non-judgemental person I know.

6. I am so boring I can't think of 10 things.

I tag hahahaha no one since no one reads my blog. I'm so cool.

2007

you know, 2007 has not been a great year for me. I'm not sad to see it end. I just hope 2008 is better. My washer died today. I'm the type of girl who NEEDS a washer. I love to do laundry, weird as that may be. Now I can't. It's sort of a therapy for me and now I feel lost. It's just not the same when you go to your sisters house and she does your laundry for you . I hope I get a new washer soon.

Halloween Fun

Madison as Belle. Not her real costume.

Yeah, she knows she's cute.

Kalen, Madison, Carson, Elizabeth, Rylee and Brylie in the front.

On Saturday night, the girls and I met up with Nicole and her posse and we went to the Riverdale Pumpkin Festival, but since it snowed it was indoors. It was pretty fun for the kids to see all the pumpkins and play some fun games and hang out with cousins. I agree. It was fun to hang out with cousins. Mine are the best.

This next week I will be going to Thriller, I am very excited about it. I also want to take my girls to the Syracuse City pumpkin walk, on Saturday. I have a friend who carves a bunch of pumpkins ( the awesome kind) and has them on display there. I also got an invitation to my friend Elisa's Halloween party so I may stop off there too, since it's in Syracuse.

Hello Panties! YAY for Brylie! She is doing SO WELL! I am amazed how well she's doing. Yesterday she wanted to wear panties so I said ok, and then she brought me a diaper, so i took her to the potty and she freaked out and so I showed her some starbursts ( lol) and she peed for a starburst! and she's been going ever since! I am soooo happy!

Goals

I have NEVER ever been good at setting and achieving goals. In fact, I don't think I've ever set one and achieved it. At work I am required to set 3 goals for improvement and performance every six months. I don't know that I've ever achieved the goals set for me. This time, however, I set some goals, and some action steps to help me do it. So far, Day 1, I am right on track. I hope that I can do it this time. I think it would really help me in my life and in my work life if I can just get through the next six months and do everything correctly. How boring.

Thankful

I am thankful to be feeling 100% better, and thankful that my girls are feeling better too. I am also thankful that my darling dearest Nathan escaped without getting sick! I am thankful for that because he used his last sick day to come home and take care of me and Madison on Thursday. He came home and I was asleep in bed and Madison was asleep on the couch and Brylie had trashed the house. Toys all over.... and the poor thing hadn't eaten in awhile. She had breakfast but after breakfast I laid down and she just entertained herself for the day. I feel bad I didn't even feed her. She's fine, THANKFULLY.

Yay tomorrow is Columbus day, and I have the day off! I love it! YAY for Columbus!

Today sucks.

Today sucks. Brylie is still sick, throwing up. Poor baby. I'm sick of poop and puke though, I'll tell you that. I hope she gets to feeling better soon, I can't stand seeing her so ill. I need a carpet cleaner. I have some gross nasty carpet now, so I'm thinking about renting a rug doctor. I'm just feeling blah today. I am having jealousy issues too, and I stinking hate being jealous. I'm going to go clean my bathroom and see if that helps. And then maybe i'll play sims.

Creepy!

Brylie is sick tonight, throwing up.I was in her room getting her ready for bed and I turned on the baby monitor ( something I never do)and I heard someone elses conversation! It was so weird. I've never had that happen, but I've heard of it.

Someone hit and knocked over my beautiful custom made mailbox. I loved that mail box and I'm pissed that it happened and they didn't stop to let us know. I think that is just SO rude. Now I can't get any mail delivered until we get a temporary one, and who knows when that will be. I'm pissed!

SO cute.

I was picking Madison up from school today and she came walking out with the CUTEST little blonde haired, blue eyed girl. They were holding hands! They walked up to my car and the little girl, who's name is Millie, proudly proclaimed that her and Madison were new friends. Made my heart melt and I was so happy for Maddy to have a girlfriend. I hope they'll turn out to be great friends, little Millie is just so cute.

I miss my friends.

Once upon a time, a long time ago, I had 2 awesome best friends. We were awesome. We had so much fun together. We're all still best friends, but we don't get to see each other that often. One had a baby at an early age and became a mother. One is busy with school ALL the time. One is pretty boring and socially retarded. I miss those girls. I miss grilled cheese soup and rolls. I want us back. Life is hard and it gets busy and there's no time for those old times. Thank goodness for October and Thriller and The Training Table. I wish those girls knew just how much I adore them and love them and want to be with them more than once or twice a year. How is that we were such good friends and now our kids barely even know each others names???? That's what makes me the saddest.

Our Lovely Elderly Folk

So I work in a job where it requires me to answer a lot of calls about peoples financial woes. I get a lot of elderly people who call. Mean old elderly people. Don't get me wrong, I love the elderly. Except the ones who call in and can't read their statement correctly. They think because it says they're Visa rate is 9.75 APR and it says that somewhere on the statement, that we're charging them $ 9.75 for something they don't wanna pay! And boy they're not afraid to let loose on you either. Also, they have no business attempting to operate a computer. A nice little lady called me today and I was trying to help her log onto her internet banking. After getting locked out 6 or 7 times and 25 minutes later, she opted to have her grandson help her. Oh, and folks, when you get a new Visa or Debit card, the expiration dates change, K? I'm pretty sure you'll live. Do people have nothing to do other than call up financial institutions and bitch about their expiration date changing??!! PEOPLE! PLEASE!?

Just for fun

Crap

You know when something happens and you have an Oh Crap moment, then you get used to the idea and then you're looking forward to it and then it's all taken away in a second? That feeling of disappointment and sometimes despair? Well that's what I'm feeling.

random

So I went to the store today with my sister to do some grocery shopping, we went together because I think she's a little lonely now that all her kids are in school all day. Well Brylie had a meltdown over something so incredibly mean of me, I mean, I wouldn't let her stand up in the cart! How mean am I? Anyway, she was throwing her fit and I was ignoring her and I was thinking that all these people were probably thinking " how horrible" "take the child home" and things like that. Then I got to thinking. I have shopping I need to do. If I don't do it now, my children will starve. (ok not starve but seriously how many meals can you make with salad dressing, pickles, and leftover (moldy) refried beans?) So I just left my insecurities right there on the floor where Brylie chucked my frozen pizzas during her fit of rage, and finished my shopping. I'll admit in my flustered state I did forget a few items, so I'm dreading going back...

My first time.

Well this is my first time, go easy on me, eh? I'm not much of a writer and I'm not really great at blogging but oh well! This summer has been fun. We started out the summer by taking a quick trip up to Portland Oregon for my niece Natalie's baptism. Up there we hung out with cousins and it was great to see my two sisters. Trisha flew in from Alabama, so that was fun. After that it was fun to have my 15 year old ( who is 16 today) niece came to visit and stay a week with us from Alabama and we had Madison's 5th birthday party at Layton park. After that I got the call that they were moving back from Alabama! What an awesome awesome surprising event. Well they made it back and we took a day trip to bear lake, which was really fun. A few weeks later we went up to Lava Hot Springs with Nate's family and had a blast! We went tubing down the Portneuf river, and of course, me being the spaz that I am, injured my rear end by falling through the tube as we were going over a waterfall and I hit my butt on a rock! OUCH! Worst.Pain.Ever. It was a fun day though and we're glad Lauren came with us. I also had my 10 year high school reunion, which I'm sad to say I even went. Hardly anyone even talked to me, I guess my views of high school are distorted because I thought I had friends. HAHA. Oh well, it was still really great to see a lot of people I had forgotten about. Some people never change! A certain person who had HUGE hair in high school still has HUGE hair. Might even be bigger now! Well now Madison has started Kindergarten, she's so happy. She loves going every day and always wakes up super excited to go. Her teacher is Mrs. Anderson and she loves her. Well this has been my first attempt at blogging. We'll see if I ever do it again.
